OUR APPROACH TO LEARNING
We pride ourselves on the safe, secure and stimulating environment we have created for the Pre-Schoolers in our care. Our large, spacious facilities allow children to play, learn and most of all have fun.
The sessions are well planned, play based curriculum led and lots of fun. We organise the space in such a way that the children can choose from, and work at a range of activities and, in doing so, build up their ability to select and work through a task to its completion. The children are also helped and encouraged to take part in adult-led small and large group activities which introduce them to new experiences and help them to gain new skills, as well as helping them to learn to work with others.
We have a safe and secure outdoor area with a safety tarmac surface and sun canopy which allows all weather play. The outdoor activities contribute to children's health, their physical development and their knowledge of the world around them. The children have the opportunity and are encouraged to take part in outdoor child chosen and adult-led activities. Children's individual needs for rest and quiet activities are also catered for during each session.
Our children have access to a great number and wide variety of toys, games and materials enabling multiple types of play and experiences. We also have tablets which are used (through restricted and supervised access) to introduce our children to the world of computing and technology.
