HISTORY & ETHOS
Billericay Catholic Pre-School was established in 1968 and is registered and regularly inspected by Ofsted, most recently in May-2019 where we retained our "Good" Ofsted Rating. Click here to see our report. We are a registered Charity with the Charity Commission (Charity Number: 1037616)
Our Pre-school welcomes children of all religion or non-religion. Children can start Pre-School from 2 years 4 months until 5 years of age. It is advisable to put your child's name on our waiting list as soon as possible after birth. We work within the framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
We are a fully inclusive setting able to meet the needs of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), you can read more about our SEND provision here.
We have a dedicated, fully qualified team of staff who are committed to the care, welfare and safety of the children in our setting. We have many collective years of experience and expertise, and a low staff turnover. We are proud of our high adult ratio of 6 staff to 26 children.
All our staff have completed at least Safeguarding Children Level 2 training and have up-to date first aid training.
We are based on Laindon Road, in the Canon Roche Hall (behind The Most Holy Redeemer Church, Billericay).
