PRE-SCHOOL COMMITTEE
The Pre-School Committee is a group of volunteers who are formal Trustees of the Billericay Catholic Pre-School charity. The Committee is responsible for managing the Pre-School's finances, employing and managing staff, making sure the Pre-School has policies and implements them to provide a high quality of service and care and making sure the Pre-School works in partnership with the parents. Members are elected by the parents of the children who attend the Pre-School. The elections take place at our Annual General Meeting.
If you would like to become a member of the Committee, please email our Chair here.
An integral part of our Pre-School are our fundraising events. The events and social activities across the year not only create opportunities for parents to meet socially but also to raise funds . The committee always welcomes new parents.
Social/fundraising events usually held each year are the Sports Day and Easter Raffle, in September 2019 we held a "Back to School Party" for the first time, which was a great success. We also created personalised Christmas Cards and Tea Towels. In addition, we use "easyfundraising" and "Bags4Cash" to support our fundraising efforts. In the Aug-19 to Aug-20 Financial Year, the Pre-School Committee raised£2,653 through these, and other events.
